Touring & Camping Rules and Regulations
1. POSITIONING OF YOUR UNIT
Touring caravans, motor homes and tents should be positioned 6 meters apart for fire safety reasons. Wherever possible, position yourselves to the right hand side (as you face the sea) of your plot. Failure to abide by this rule could result in you being asked to reposition your unit.
2. SPEED LIMIT
Please no speeding. The speed limit is 5mph and this must be adhered to at all times for the safety of everyone on the Park especially children and the elderly. Speeding will not be tolerated, as it is both dangerous and unsociable.
3. GAMES AND SOCIALIZING
It is strictly forbidden to fly kites, throw Frisbees or play ball games between caravans, to prevent possible damage. For the same reason, cycling is prohibited between caravans and any damage caused must be reported immediately and paid for. For the benefit of all visitors to the Park, noise levels should be kept to a minimum, with no excess noise after 22.00. Unsociable noise, which upsets others, will not be tolerated and failure to comply with this rule or any of these listed might result in you being asked to leave the Park and all monies paid forfeited.
4. DOGS
Dogs must be always kept under control and on a short lead for non-dog owner’s sake! Whilst at your tent or caravan they should be tethered securely, a safe distance from passing traffic. They should be kept a practical distance from neighbouring tents or caravans. People who do not clear up after their dog are in serious breach of the Park Rules and consequently, could be asked to leave.
5. GENERAL
All rubbish is to be placed in the wheelie bins provided, and not left outside your caravan or tent or on the floor by the bins. Small children should not be sent to throw away the rubbish if they are unable to reach into the bins. The new bins are opened by pressing the two buttons on the lids. Please take care when using Park property. Any damages must be reported immediately and paid for in full.
6. BARBECUES & FIRE PITS
Although disposable barbecues are permitted, they must be raised off the ground so that they do not burn the grass. They should be disposed of correctly, but only when they have cooled down. Please note fire pits are not permitted.
7. PLANTING
We have planted a considerable amount of shrubs, trees and bushes in the Church Field and around the Park in general so please do not allow your children to play or dogs to fowl in these areas.
8. REFUNDS
We do not operate a cash refund policy although we assess each case individually. Credit notes can only be issued at the manager’s discretion. Any grievance must be reported and logged with the office immediately. Once you have left the park, we cannot commit to refund in arrears.
9. FIRE SAFETY
All caravans and campers should be equipped with a fire extinguisher and every visitor to the Park should acquaint themselves with their nearest external fire point and extinguisher.
10. INSURANCE
All tourers and campers must be fully insured by their owner prior to arrival on Park. The company cannot be held responsible for any damage, [storm or accident] loss or personal injury, howsoever caused to the persons on the Park, or to property belonging to persons on the Park. The company may charge an administration fee, should you need to make a claim.
11. PITCH VACATION
All pitches must be vacated by 11.00a.m. Unless an extension has been arranged through the office. Subject to the pitch being vacant it is not normally possible to occupy your pitch before 12.00p.m.
