On the 21^st of April 2015 Google made changes to their search algorithm which ranks non-mobile friendly sites further down the listings. According to Google, they “will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal”.

How will this affect my business?

In 2013, worldwide mobile phone internet user penetration was 73.4%. In 2017, figures suggest that more than 90% of internet users will access online content through their phones” - Statista, The Statistics Portal

So many people nowadays own a smart phone or/and a tablet, this means that they are browsing your site on a small screen. Imagine trying to read a print size 3 in a word document you just wouldn’t be able to so this is how your camping website will look on a phone if you are not mobile responsive.

Camping websites that are not mobile responsive receive a higher dropout rate by their customers than compared to websites that are mobile responsive. The user experience rapidly declines when a customer cannot view your site on a mobile
